Crouch Valley Chardonnay 2023: Exhibiting a vibrant golden hue, this wine opens with aromas of ripe citrus and apple blossom, beautifully layered with delicate and intricate hints of brioche, fennel seed, and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it’s instantly rich and full-bodied, showcasing flavours of luscious orchard fruit, finishing with a lively touch of orange zest.
Marbury’s vineyards cover 60 acres on the southern edge of the Crouch Valley, with sweeping views over the picturesque River Crouch. The land lies low, gently sloping from a high point of 48 metres down to just 7 metres above sea level. The North Sea is less than 10 miles to the east, bringing a strong coastal influence to the area.
